Hello, one and all!
As the title suggests, I have completed the second draft of my first novel, “Whispers of Nowhere”. While it wasn’t nearly as emotional for me as the completion of the first draft (after all, completing a story is a pretty big deal, when you consider how many people don’t get around to doing it), it was still impactful nevertheless.
For anyone who wishes to read the story in its entirety, I shall direct you here: http://www.inkitt.com/stories/14245
No pressure, but if you like it, please feel free to vote for it on one of the three competitions it is currently entered in on the Inkitt site.
I digress: Now with the second draft complete, you may (or may not) be wondering what that means. Well, it means I’ll be taking a few days to a week off, and then going on to the first draft of the sequel, “Fall of the Spectrum”.
I actually have a full list in regard to my goals, and on that list the third draft of Whispers of Nowhere is an eventuality–but for now, I will leave you with this: though I’ve come a long way, my writerly work is far from over.
I’ll be sure to keep you all apprised. Thanks so much to those of you who have shown an interest in the story, and those who have lent their assistance. Your time and advice have been invaluable. 🙂
